We see more —
so we treat more precisely

A microscope is not an optional extra. It is the standard of quality without which modern endodontics is impossible. We do not treat teeth blind.

In acute pain? We can see you today
Do not put up with it. Acute pain is a sign that infection has already reached the pulp or the root canals. The longer you wait, the harder and costlier the treatment. The clinic is open every day, 9:00–19:00.

Why it matters

The difference between with a microscope and without

A microscope does not automatically make a doctor better. But without one, even an experienced specialist physically cannot see what a doctor with a microscope sees.

Without magnification
Treatment "by feel and experience"
The edge of the decay is judged approximately — risking either leaving diseased tissue or removing too much
Micro-cracks in the enamel and dentine are invisible — a potential source of new disease remains
Extra canals (especially MB2 in molars) often go unfound — the infection left behind causes a relapse
The quality of the root filling cannot be checked visually — you rely on the X-ray
Perforations and broken instruments are found too late
Cosmetic restoration — the shape is rebuilt from memory, without precise detail
Under the microscope
Treatment with the precision of jewellery work
The exact border between healthy and diseased — we remove precisely what is needed, no more and no less
Micro-cracks and surface defects are visible and dealt with before the restoration
Every canal is found and cleaned — the source of infection is eliminated completely
The quality of the filling is confirmed visually, not only on the X-ray
Perforations are spotted and repaired during the work
The restoration reproduces the tooth's natural relief — the cusps, the fissures, the contact points

Root canal treatment: why a microscope is essential

A root canal is not a simple tube. It is a complex system of branches, constrictions and side channels. Without magnification it cannot be cleaned properly.

How many canals teeth have
Incisors, canines
1 canal
Premolars
1–2 canals
Upper molars
3+1 MB2
Lower molars
3–4 canals
⚠ The MB2 canal
About 90% of upper molars have a fourth canal, MB2. It lies deep and is virtually impossible to find without a microscope. Leave it untreated and a relapse is guaranteed.
🔍

Finding every canal

Under the microscope the canal openings are visible, even calcified and unusual ones. A missed canal is the main cause of recurring pain and of the need for retreatment.

💎

Precise mechanical cleaning

The microscope lets the doctor control the depth and direction of the instrument. Less risk of a broken instrument, a perforated root wall, or removing too much tissue.

🧩

Spotting micro-cracks

A vertical root fracture is a death sentence for the tooth. Under the microscope it is visible before treatment even begins. We give you the prognosis straight away rather than discovering the problem mid-procedure.

Checking the filling

How well the canal is filled with gutta-percha can be judged by eye. No voids, no unfilled areas — wherever air remains, infection begins.

🔄

Retreatment (revision)

If someone treated the canals earlier without a microscope, we can redo the work: remove the old filling, find the missed canals and eliminate the source of infection. Save the tooth instead of extracting it.

The clinic's philosophy

Do it properly, once

Cheap treatment is never free. It always costs more — just later, when the problem comes back.

Scenario A — "save money", then redo it
A filling without a microscope
A poor margin, inaccurate anatomy
~UAH 800
+ one or two years later
Root canals because of a relapse
The decay has reached the pulp
~UAH 7 500
+ another year later
A crown, and possibly a cyst
A root-treated tooth needs covering
~UAH 9 000
vs
Scenario B — do it properly first time
A restoration under the microscope
A precise margin, natural anatomy, made to last
~UAH 3 500
Scenario A
~UAH 17 300
+ time + stress + risk
Scenario B
~UAH 2 800
once, and properly
1

Even perfect retreatment is no guarantee

Redoing another dentist's work is always a harder case. Weakened walls, scar tissue, a disturbed microstructure. The quality of our work lowers the risk but does not remove it. That is important to understand.

2

Responsibility is shared

The doctor has done their part. But the outcome also depends on following advice, regular check-ups and good hygiene. A treated tooth needs attention — especially in the first year.

3

The price of the right choice is time

The best moment to treat decay is now, while it is small. Every month of delay means deeper damage, more work and a higher price. Sometimes it means losing a tooth that could have been saved.

💡

Where we stand

We do not sell cheap treatment. We offer a solution that lasts. If a tooth can be saved with a good restoration, we will save it. If the situation is difficult, we will tell you honestly what lies ahead and what the options are. No promises we cannot keep.

How it works

From booking to a finished tooth

1
Examination and diagnosis
An X-ray or CT scan, assessment of the tissues, a diagnosis. An honest prognosis, unvarnished.
2
Plan and price
You get a roadmap: what, why, in what order, and what it costs. Questions come before we start, not after.
3
Anaesthesia
Modern anaesthetics work fast and reliably. We check that they have taken effect before starting.
4
Treatment
Decay or root canals — under the microscope, unhurried. Precisely, completely, with every step checked.
5
Restoration
Rebuilding the shape, the colour and the contact points. Checking the occlusion. Polishing to a natural shine.
6
Follow-up
Advice on care, and a check-up if needed. We do not disappear once treatment is over.
Price

Transparent pricing

The exact price is set after the examination and the X-ray. No extras along the way — only what was agreed.

Answers to what matters

What is on your mind

We hear these questions every day. We answer honestly — as a doctor to a patient, not as a marketer to a customer.

Nothing hurts — why should I come in?
Decay causes almost no pain until the very end. By the time severe pain appears, it is already pulpitis or the beginning of canal disease. Treatment then costs three to five times as much. The absence of pain is not a sign of health — it is a sign that it is not too late yet.
I am afraid it will hurt
Modern anaesthesia makes dental treatment comfortable. We check that it has worked before starting, and top it up if needed. We never begin until we are sure the patient feels nothing.
My previous dentist said the tooth must come out
Come in for a consultation. Under the microscope we will see the real state of things. Sometimes a tooth that has been condemned can be saved with good endodontics or retreatment. An answer is always better than guesswork.
Will the tooth darken after root canal treatment?
Darkening after root canal treatment happens when pulp tissue is left in the canal or outdated materials are used. With good endodontics under a microscope and proper filling, the tooth keeps its natural colour.
How many visits will I need?
Decay and restoration — 1 visit. Root canals in a straightforward tooth usually take one or two visits. Complex cases (retreatment, a cyst) take two or three. We respect your time and aim to finish in as few appointments as possible.
Emergency care

Acute pain —
act now

Acute toothache is not something to "wait until Monday" with. Pain means the infection has already reached the pulp or the bone. Every hour of delay means more destroyed tissue and harder treatment.

We are open every day from 9:00 to 19:00, weekends and holidays included. If there is a free slot today, we will take you. Call us and we will find the nearest time.

😰
Throbbing or constant pain
A sign of pulpitis or a flare-up of a chronic process. Painkillers give temporary relief but cure nothing. Root canal treatment or surgery is needed.
🌡️
A swollen cheek or gum
An abscess. It needs urgent attention. Without drainage the inflammation spreads into neighbouring tissue and the situation becomes dangerous.
🦷
A broken tooth or a lost filling
Exposed dentine causes sharp sensitivity, and an open cavity is quickly infected. The sooner it is restored, the less healthy tissue is lost.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Root canal treatment under a microscope at Houston starts from UAH 6 600. The price depends on the number of canals and the complexity of the case; we give the exact figure after a 3D CT scan.
No. Endodontics is done under local anaesthetic — you feel nothing during the work. The microscope lets the doctor move more precisely and faster, so the procedure is shorter. Afterwards there may be moderate discomfort for a day or two; that is a normal tissue reaction and it passes on its own.
It depends on how many roots and canals the tooth has: single-rooted from UAH 6 600, two-rooted from UAH 8 500, a molar (3–4 canals) from UAH 11 500. Retreatment after another dentist is quoted individually after an X-ray. The exact price is always agreed before treatment begins.
In most cases, yes. A cyst is a reaction to infection inside the root canal. Remove the source — by treating or retreating the canals properly — and the cyst resolves within six to twelve months. The key condition is that every canal, including all its branches, is cleaned completely. That is only possible under a microscope.
Decay only hurts once it reaches the pulp — the bundle of nerves and vessels. Until then the destruction is silent. A small cavity takes 40 minutes to treat and costs from UAH 2 150. Delay it and the decay reaches the pulp: root canal treatment from UAH 6 600 plus a crown from UAH 6 900. Stopping the problem with a small filling today is the sensible choice.
